Eats & Treats

Casual Eats in The Village

Village Sports Bar | This new bar & grill opened Nov ‘22 and is a great place to watch the big game and enjoy good grub.

Whiskey Dave’s | A Big Beat classic with live music every weekend, great grub and everything you’d expect from an old school sports bar.

Firerock Burgers & Brews | In the heart of the Village. Both indoor and patio seating and amazing burgers.

Saucy Moma’s Pizzeria | In the heart of the Village. Both indoor and patio seating and good pizza and staple Italian food.

Big Bear Lake Brewing Co | In the heart of the Village. Excellent local brews and grubbin’ American food

Big Bear Mountain Brewery | Just up the street from Chateau Wonderland on Big Bear Blvd., this place is a local spot with good basic grub and good beer.

Himalayan | In the heart of the Village. Fantastic and authentic Indian food. The service is slow but it’s worth it!

Amangela’s | In the Village. Great for lunch and take out. Excellent food, generous portions and wonderful people.

Local Tropicali | Village adjacent. A totally awesome tiki bar & restaurant with killer drinks and Cali-Style island grinds for the entire ohana!

Fancy Eats

Captian’s Anchorage | Amazing Steak & Seafood since 1946! We LOVE this place for the ol’ Bear charm, friendly people, amazing food and George, the ghost.

Peppercorn Grille | In the heart of the Village. Cozy atmosphere, fine dining, and home baked bread!

Oakside | Top of the Village. Big Bear’s most upscale dining with live music on the patio (weather permitting) and a large bar upstairs with deck seating and great Village views.

La Pergola Trattoria | New owners have completely remodeled this Big Bear gem. Great service, wonderful food and classy environment will make for a memorable meal.

Coffee

The Copper Q | In the heart of the Village, the Copper Q bakes fresh goodies daily, offers a small menu, has lots of seating and an eclectic shop. The best coffee in Big Bear - we love this place!

Tea & Coffee Exchange | Village adjacent. Another great option that’s typically a little less crowded and with a bigger variety of eats than Copper Q.

Treats

North Pole Fudge & Ice Cream | In the heart of the Village. Just like the good ol’ days, this locally owned gem is the real deal!

Village Sweet Shoppe | Top of the Village. Stocked with loads of treats.

Ben & Jerry’s | In the heart of the Village. It’s great, after all it’s Ben & Jerry’s.

Shop Local

Wild Coyote Gallery | Big Bear’s best fine art gallery featuring photographs, paintings, and pottery by dozens of local artists. Located on Village Drive.

Artisans Gallery | In the heart of the Village on Pine Knot. With over 50 local artisans, this gem of a shop is a must visit!
