Bluff Lake is a protected preserve located just 5.4 miles from Chateau Wonderland, and a must-see when you stay with us. Views along the easy-to-tread fire roads are wonderful, and we recommend stopping along the way to explore the woods, climb boulders and dip your feet in Metcalf Creek.

Below is our custom map to help you find your way to Bluff Lake (marked as “Route 1” in red). We also marked the map with another one of our favorite adventures that takes you across the top of the mountain and drops you into the Village. Known as “Skyline Trail” or “2N17” it is marked as “Route 2” in blue and is a beautiful 7.7 mile drive along slightly more rugged fire roads.
